Cursed City, Moldred - Quick Play

With the DUET RPG JAM completed, we've updated the document following the feedback of the testers and the other jam participants! We hope this clears up an confusion in the rules and any game breaking errors.

Created in 2.5 days and submitted to the Duet RPG Jam!

While this is a test/proof of concept for us for another larger project, we wanted to use a system we enjoyed and so we chose to use Firelights by Fari RPGs!

These Quick-Play rules for our game will serve as an entry point to the larger game, coming toward the end of May. So, we hope you enjoy our little project here and leave us some feedback! It's appreciated!

These rules also fold into a nice sized pamphlet, so they are compact and easy to bring with you! They also don't take up much table space!

THE STORY...

The city of Moldred has been torn asunder by a dark curse that brings the dead back to life. 

Occultists gather in the shadows, hiding away rituals from prying eyes, summoning wicked demons and diseases.

Lycanthropes from the surrounding wildlands have, due to the lack of guards on the walls and gates, have begun to roam the streets.

Highwaymen and bandits have taken refuge in the abandoned homes of the accursed, and prey on the living who remain.

Evil sorcerers use ancient and terrible magics to make constructs of metal, stone, and flesh to do their bidding.

The selfish King Cassius is hunting down the ancient spell tomes, guarded by the six Governors, with divine power to destroy this pestilence to save his afflicted sister from the fate of the accursed.

Now, more than ever, Moldred needs a hero.

Will it be you, Unblighted One, who will take up the lantern and descend into the darkness in search of the tomes and save this cursed city?

Or will death, or undeath, be the fate of us all?
